Agnetha Faltskog

Agnetha faltskog is most well-known for her work as a Swedish soloist. However, she will always be remembered as a one of the original members of ABBA who is the most popular and commercially successful pop band. After leaving school at the age of 15 to explore a career in music and performing, she was soon singing with Bernt Enghardt's band and soon gained the attention of a fan base. The singer was signed to a record deal by Enghardt and the debut album topped the Swedish charts. Bjornulvaeus later married was her husband and she joined ABBA. ABBA was one of the most loved pop groups around the globe over the eight-year period. The group won the gold and platinum awards throughout the world. In the years following ABBA the group released three albums, namely 'Wrap Your Arms Around Me' as well as 'Eyes Of A Woman as well as 'I Stand Alone'. All with great success in Sweden and gained popularity throughout Europe also, yet did not make a huge impact on the U.S. The '80s came to an end her career took an informal retirement. The music of ABBA was featured as the theme of a jukebox musical called 'Mamma Mia!'. The album "My Coloring Book and 'My Coloring Book', which reached No. 11 on charts for the UK it was made after she had come out of retirement. The latest album "A" has received a positive reception.
