LeonaLeona Louise Lewis (born on April 3, 1985) is a British artist, singer actor, activist and actress. Her birthplace was in the London Borough Of Islington she went to the BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology, Croydon. Lewis was noticed by the world as she was selected for the third and final season on The X Factor 2006 and got a deal worth PS1,000,000 from Syco music. It has been certified as platinum by the UK it became the fourth best-selling album of 2000. Spirit According to Official Charts Company is the record-breaking debut album of the 21st century by a female singer. The first single, "Bleeding Love", spent seven weeks at number 1 in the UK and was the highest-selling single of the year 2007. It was also the most-sold single sold in the US in the year. Lewis won the Billboard Best New Artist Award following year. Echo was her sophomore studio album. The album also featured the hit song "I See You" for Avatar. In 2011, Lewis released the single "Collide" in collaboration alongside Swedish DJ Avicii along with her debut extended-play, Hurt: The EP. The third album she released, Glassheart (2012), represented a fresh direction in music for Lewis and her music, drawing in dubstep as well as electronic music. The Glassheart Tour was in the middle of 2013, when she started recording songs for her debut Christmas album. The album Christmas, With Love was released in late 2013. The lead track, One More Sleep, was a top 3 hit within the UK. In the wake of this chart, Lewis made history as the only British woman soloist to reach the top five with eight singles, surpassing Olivia Newton-John's record of seven.
